HOMOSSEXUALISMO?

A homossexualidade é uma ilha cercada de ignorância por todos os lados. Nesse sentido, não existe aspecto do comportamento humano que se lhe compare.
Não há descrição de civilização alguma, de qualquer época, que não faça referência à existência de mulheres e homens homossexuais. Apesar dessa constatação, ainda hoje esse tipo de comportamento é chamado de antinatural.
Os que assim o julgam partem do princípio de que a natureza (ou Deus) criou órgãos sexuais para que os seres humanos procriassem; portanto, qualquer relacionamento que não envolva pênis e vagina vai contra ela (ou Ele).
Se partirmos de princípio tão frágil, como justificar a prática de sexo anal entre heterossexuais? E o sexo oral? E o beijo na boca? Deus não teria criado a boca para comer e a língua para articular palavras?
Se a homossexualidade fosse apenas perversão humana, não seria encontrada em outros animais. Desde o início do século 20, no entanto, ela tem sido descrita em grande variedade de espécies de invertebrados e em vertebrados, como répteis, pássaros e mamíferos.
Em virtualmente todas as espécies de pássaros, em alguma fase da vida, ocorrem interações homossexuais que envolvem contato genital, que, pelo menos entre os machos, ocasionalmente terminam em orgasmo e ejaculação.
Comportamento homossexual envolvendo fêmeas e machos foi documentado em pelo menos 71 espécies de mamíferos, incluindo ratos, camundongos, hamsters, cobaias, coelhos, porcos-espinhos, cães, gatos, cabritos, gado, porcos, antílopes, carneiros, macacos e até leões, os reis da selva.
Relacionamento homossexual entre primatas não humanos está fartamente documentado na literatura científica. Já em 1914, Hamilton publicou no Journal of Animal Behaviour um estudo sobre as tendências sexuais em macacos e babuínos, no qual descreveu intercursos com contato vaginal entre as fêmeas e penetração anal entre machos dessas espécies. Em 1917, Kempf relatou observações semelhantes.
Masturbação mútua e penetração anal fazem parte do repertório sexual de todos os primatas não humanos já estudados, inclusive bonobos e chimpanzés, nossos parentes mais próximos.
Considerar contra a natureza as práticas homossexuais da espécie humana é ignorar todo o conhecimento adquirido pelos etologistas em mais de um século de pesquisas rigorosas.
Os que se sentem pessoalmente ofendidos pela simples existência de homossexuais talvez imaginem que eles escolheram pertencer a essa minoria por capricho individual. Quer dizer, num belo dia pensaram: eu poderia ser heterossexual, mas como sou sem vergonha prefiro me relacionar com pessoas do mesmo sexo.
Não sejamos ridículos; quem escolheria a homossexualidade se pudesse ser como a maioria dominante? Se a vida já é dura para os heterossexuais, imagine para os outros.
A sexualidade não admite opções, simplesmente é. Podemos controlar nosso comportamento; o desejo, jamais. O desejo brota da alma humana, indomável como a água que despenca da cachoeira.
Mais antiga do que a roda, a homossexualidade é tão legítima e inevitável quanto a heterossexualidade. Reprimi-la é ato de violência que deve ser punido de forma exemplar, como alguns países fazem com o racismo.
Os que se sentem ultrajados pela presença de homossexuais na vizinhança, que procurem dentro das próprias inclinações sexuais as razões para justificar o ultraje. Ao contrário dos conturbados e inseguros, mulheres e homens em paz com a sexualidade pessoal costumam aceitar a alheia com respeito e naturalidade.
Negar a pessoas do mesmo sexo permissão para viverem em uniões estáveis com os mesmos direitos das uniões heterossexuais é uma imposição abusiva que vai contra os princípios mais elementares de justiça social.
Os pastores de almas que se opõem ao casamento entre homossexuais têm o direito de recomendar a seus rebanhos que não o façam, mas não podem ser fascistas a ponto de pretender impor sua vontade aos que não pensam como eles.
Afinal, caro leitor, a menos que seus dias sejam atormentados por fantasias sexuais inconfessáveis, que diferença faz se a colega de escritório é apaixonada por uma mulher?
